State Socialist Contributions to International Law National Approaches and Global Engagements

This workshop addresses the contribution of state socialist countries such as Poland, the German Democratic Republic, the Soviet Union, China or former Yugoslavia to the development of international law after 1945. It examines both the international engagements of these countries as well as the national implementation of various conventions. The workshop focuses particularly on human rights and international criminal and humanitarian law. The event is organized in cooperation with Erfurt University.
