Socialism, Alternative Globalization and Human Rights

As part of the series of conferences Revisiting State Socialism organized by Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj and Tranzit Romania, Raluca Grosescu (SNSPA, Bucharest) and Bogdan C. Iacob (“Nicolae Iorga” Institute of History) will present their work on socialism, alternative globalization, and human rights. The event will particularly focus on the contributions of Eastern European experts and governments to the criminalization of apartheid and the codification of healthcare as human rights during the Cold War. The event takes place on Thursday, 22^nd February at ArtHub Bucharest and is moderated by Adela Hîncu (UBB, Cluj).
